Validation, sensitivity analysis and uncertainty quantification
The principle of the uncertainty quantification (UQ) is to propagate the input uncertainties forward through the direct solver to perform statistical assessments on the resulting responses.
Checking the numbers
We will investigate the influence of input uncertainties on the model’s responses with regards to:
- uncertainty quantification
- sensitivity analysis
Delivery:
Two computer codes: for 1D and 3D models yielding the expected uncertainty of output given the expected variability in input data.
