ENTHRAL project launched!

The project „Non-invasive in-vivo assessment of local stiffness of human artery walls” was launched on 1 October 2020.

The ENTHRAL project received funding under the GRIEG competition announced by the National Science Centre in the frame of the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The ENTHRAL project aims to develop a non-invasive technique of assessing the stiffness of the carotid artery, which is to assist clinicians in cardiovascular diseases diagnostics.

The project will be implemented from 1.10.2020 to 30.09.2023 by the medical and scientific consortium represented by:

Silesian University of Technology – Project Promoter

Norwegian University of Science and Technology – Norwegian Partner

Gliwice Municipal Hospital #4 Ltd. – Medical Partner

The total cost of the project is 6 338 294 PLN. The ENTHRAL project benefits from a 5 387 549.9 PLN grant from Norway Grants and a 950 744.1 PLN grant from the Polish State budget.
