On May 9th, 2025, at the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, the PhD defence of Aleksander Sinek, who was employed in the ENTHRAL project as a doctoral fellow, took place. The topic of his dissertation was Integration of statistical data analysis and surrogate modeling for uncertainty quantification, sensitivity analysis and inverse problems involving fluid-structure interaction models.
Following, on June 12th, 2025 Aleksander has been granted Doctoral Degree in environmental engineering, mining and energy by the Environmental Engineering, Mining and Energy Discipline Board of The Silesian University of Technology.
The thesis was prepared in the double degree programme (SUT-NTNU), Aleksander has been awarded Doctor of Philosophy by the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) on May 9th, 2025.
